DESCRIPTION:

Amachi is depicted on this die-cut menko card as a Big Six University umpire. Before becoming an umpire in 1929 he played for Meiji University. His umpiring career ended in 1931. He later became the Chunichi Dragons' finest manager and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1970.
