DESCRIPTION:

This seldom seen card features Hall of Fame pitcher Takehiko Bessho as a member of the Nankai Hawks. This 300 game winner pitched for the Hawks through 1948. He joined the Yomiuri Giants beginning with the 1949 season. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1979. The back is blank with a small strip of paper attached along the top edge.
